Chinese Student Visting NYC

All suggestions welcomed for two Chinese(Engish speakers) students for first trip to NYC. They are interested in "young people scene."

What exactly is a "young people scene"? There are young people all over New York...

How old are the students? Assuming at least 21 they can go anywhere - will probably be happiest hanging out in Village an East Village with tons of students from NYU and other schools in the area.

As for what else to see/do it depends on their interests.

The first hurdle is where they will stay. Do they have a place yet? If not, what are they looking for/what budget do they have?

They are 22-28. Probably lower Manhanten, SoHo, upper Westside--Columbia. Have no idea where they are staying, but welcome suggestions that I can pass onto them.

Forget it. I just found out they booked with a TA in China. They are doing 5 cities in 6 days. China is bound to capture tons of gold this summer.
