Chinese buffet Quality? Florida-Ca.

I was shocked to learn that most family
buffet resturants will recycle uneaten
food from the plates of the previous
diners. A friend of mine told me that this
is very common. Before she leaves the
resturant she will put salt on the uneaten
food so it will be thrown out instead of
given the the next customer. Can anyone
verify this that has worked in a resturant?
How would the servers know that there was salt on the food unless they too eat off of the used plates???

A good friend of mine had some type
of social work job dealing with the
homeless. It was a know fact with
the homeless that buffet type
resturants never had uneaten food in
their trash to pick thru.
I will normally not eat at buffets.

I have eaten at a Chinese buffet restaurant on Route 17 south in Ramsey, New Jersey and have witnessed the waitstaff throwing the leftovers into a deep and large gray tray and then dumping the contents into a large trashbin. There's no way they can recycle that stuff because someone would have to sort the sweet "n" sour chicken from the beef and broccoli from the fried rice, and you get the picture. It's one big mish mash of food. As a matter of fact this is one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I have ever been to, or it used to be. Usually, Chinese restaurants won't waste a single thing and I feel that almost all of their eating establishments are dirty and they have dirty habits. I've also been to a couple of steakhouse buffets in central Florida and never saw evidence that the food is recycled. You can look right into the kitchen of one of the chains and see them cooking and then serving it out front.

Isn't it pretty obvious that "Gladys" and "Jeff" are the same person?

Yep, they're the same troll. A troll with an anti-Chinese prejudice. Amazing how fast the other bigoted worms crawl out when some jerk posts idiocy like this.
