Hi,I'm traveling with my husband and 2 yo to Savannah and Charleston and would love any recommendations on restaurants in these two areas. Thanks!

The only restaurant in Charleston I've ever been to that wasn't kid friendly was Penninsula Grille.

SNOB
Jestine's Kitchen
Poogan's Porch

The fun of Leopolds Ice Cream shoppe, and the Pirates' House with its legends of shanghaied sailors are two of my favorites for my grandchildren. Take along a sack of bread (to feed the squirrels and pidgeons), a frisbee, a blanket, a camera, and an old fashion picnic to Forsyth Park (Savannah's central park) to capture family memories. Repeat at Tybee Island beach or on the Tybee Island pier.

We used to love the Pirate House. We would go soak up the atmosphere and then order desserts and sodas. I still remember the pirate hat I got there.

I live in the Charleston Area... A.W. Shucks has a kids menu as well as Bubba
Gumps. Both are Sustainable Seafood Partners with the South Carolina Aquarium, so I tend to stick with those partners. Fleet landing is also a partner that is right on the water so you can see the dolphins in the Cooper river and the birds too. There is even outside dinning.
