Child friendly accomodation Cape Cod

Hi,

We are going to be in the Cape Cod area in July and will be looking for child friendly accommodation (kids 4&6), within easy reach of the beach, hopefully with a pool and play parks - any recommendations?

Sorry for the lack of info. We are heading for mid-cape, I was thinking around Yarmouth - but am open to suggestions. We are most interested in places with efficiencies.

We stayed one year at All Seasons Motor Inn in South Yarmouth and really like it. They have great indoor and outdoor pools, and the rooms are "decent" for the price. Not near the beach, but it's an easy drive. I think there are some nice resorts on the beach, but they will be expensive, especially in summer.

in Dennisport, we stay at Colonial Village - has a great hotel or cabins - a block from a beach with playground, two pools - one indoor, one outdoor, and across the street from the best ice cream ever at the Sundae School. they have a website.

The reason you are not getting a lot of answers is that many of the best veaches on the Cape do not have lodging on them - much is part of Cape Cod National Seashore. And those closer to beach usually do not have a pool.

We have just returned from a great holiday on the Cape. We stayed in Hyannis at the Anchor Inn Motel, on South Street and can thoroughly recommend it. Spotlessly clean, a variety of room choices, a great pool, smashing continental breakfast and a couple of minutes walk to either the town centre or to a free beach. Things to do with the kids, include the whale watching, the kid’s theatre at Dennis, kayaking on the Bass River, cycling on Martha’s Vineyard and of course the Hyannis ‘Duckmobile’.
