Chicago Untouchable Ganster Tours

Can anyone who has taken one of the "Untouchables Ganster Tours" Please comment on what you thought about it? Adult tickets are $22, was it worth it or was it very "campy". Thanks for your input!

Gee, THAT was helpful!<BR><BR>Have you tried Fodors Rants & Raves? They now have a section on "sights & activities" maybe there is something about it there.

Huh? Sep 30th, 2002 03:31 PM

What is a Ganster, anyway?<BR>

To: Huh? Once again by pointing out a typo, you are making yourself look like a complete idiot who really has nothing better to do.<BR><BR>Fran, the only info I have is from a site describing the tour, it said "UNTOUCHABLE TOURS. Two-hour guided bus tour of Prohibition-era gangster hot spots and hit spots, including Al Capone's headquarters, the scene of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and more. "<BR>

xxx, by responding you also made yourself an idiot.<BR><BR>Never argue with a fool because people won't know the difference.

"AL Capone's Headquarters" is a boarded up old hotel on the south side. "The site of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre" would be time spent gazing at the spot where a garage once stood. I'm surprised the don't tout the site of Dillinger's death - the grubby alley south of the Biograph theatre. At least there used to be a decent Mexican restaurant next door....

Kris and xxx, thanks. I think we will skip this tour.
