Chicago Tribune or Chicago Sun Times?

Whitch newspaper would be better to tour?

Tour the facility? The Tribune building I would think- its right on the river. Looks interesting.

I suspect the Tribune. The Sun Times building looks pretty new and sterile. The outside of the Tribune is very interesting because it has remnants(too lazy to look up proper spelling) of famous world landmarks embedded in its stone (all labeled).

The Trib building is a landmark Chicago building and the Trib the leading paper in town.

Yes, but you're not going to be able to see a newspaper being created at either one, since neither paper prints on-site. Up to a while ago, you could have seen the big (now old-fashioned) presses running in the pressroom of the Sun-Times. Gone the way of the horse and buggy. The Trib facility is on the River at Larrabee street. Just what is it you are hoping to see?

I have no idea. Our travel book states that both newspapers offer tours, and we thought it might be fun to visit one.
I appreciate everyones replies.
If you decide to take a tour of the Tribune, I would also suggest taking a tour of the McCormick mansion in Cantigny Park in Wheaton. www.cantignypark.com
