You can stay at Rosemont/ O'Hare hotels, and yes they do offer free parking and yes you will have to ride the Blue Line CTA back and forth ( 45 min ea way.) I thought you were going to Chicago and not Rosemont?
For the short amount of time you will be spending in Chicago, is it not better to stay in the city and deal with the parking at the hotel?

Geneva is a cute town (on the Elburn line, one stop closer to Chicago).
