Chicago style pizza

Where should we go to eat Chicago style pizza during our brief stay in September? We will be staying at the Ritz, and we are interested in having pizza for lunch on Saturday. Suggestions?

Lou Malnati's in the 400 block of North Wells (River North). Better than Unos, better than Gino's East. There's also a Girodanos on Rush just south of Chicago (accross from Rusebud on Rush) if you don't want to venture that far.

HTH,
Racy

Agree with Giordano's or Malnati's.
Unique to Chicago is their style of pizza.

Gino's East is different, but I still crave it after all these years in California. My son called me on his cell phone last Saturday from Gino's---what a rat! Spoiled my whole weekend.

Gino's East is still my vote. DEEP dish with more cheese than any pizza I've ever had. (And I'm a cheesehead!)

If the weather is warm, ask the Ritz concierge for directions to Ranalli's. Pizza is pretty good and the outside dining is great.
