how about kendall college cooking school restuarant. they just moved into chicago and it looks great.

the food at least would be decent. we ate at their previous address.

Soundings Restaurant at the John G. Shedd Aquarium for a spectacular 180 degree view from Lake Michigan to Michigan Avenue. Menu is surprisingly good, of moderate cost, and you do not need to pay the entrance fees into the Shedd with a restaurant reservation. http://www.sheddaquarium.org/dining_at_shedd.html
