In case I miss you again, NP...

This JUST opened last week: Momotaro in the West Loop. By the folks from the Girl and the Goat, Boka, GT Fish & Oyster. I know you are full up on your schedule but you might wish to jot it down for next time around (trusting that it will be as successful as the others).

The Allis is British fare.

If you were interested in meeting 1/2 between Evanston and River North - perhaps in my old neighborhood. Bar Pastoral on N. Broadway has small plates, artisan products, nice cozy ambiance. Not Asian-fusion, though. Close to the Wellington and Belmont stations.

Yoshi's Café on N. Halsted is close to the Belmont station.

Cross off Momotaro since you don't like it so boisterous. I just checked Yelp for updates since it IS so new. Sorry.

Knife and Tine is one of the very best places in the DePaul U. area of Lincoln Park. It's new American cuisine and it's popular.

This is just for a fun (and interesting) drink selection: Three Dots and a Dash. Gotta luv those tiki mugs.

And, BTW, since I am thinking about it...There's a coffee shop called Dollop Coffee Shop that serves Hoosier Mama Pies. IMHO, best pies in Chicago! Also baked goods from the Southport grocery (N. Southport Corridor). One of their locations is in Streeterville on E. Ohio and one is in the Loop on Dearborn, just south of the River. If you have a chance, try some. :D

The Dollop Coffee Shop is nearby the Harold Washington Library. Not far from the Art Institute, if that's where you are going.

Back. Thanks to all the wonderful suggestions, even though we ended up unable to use many of them.

There's only 4000 restaurants in Chicago - and you had three whole days!

Next time you'll just have to try harder! :D

exiledprincess, I licked my lips every time we walked past BoHo, that's the top of my list. And I do want to get back to Topolobompo. We were headed to the Dollop east of Michigan, but got sidetracked at Eatitaly so never made it there.

So much food, so little time. Sigh.
