Chicago Locals: Lincoln Park lunch spot

Can anyone recommend a good Lincoln Park place for lunch on a budget? Even a great coffeehouse would be fun. Something convenient to the shopping at the North & Clybourn corridor would be perfect. Thanks!

For coffee, I strongly recommend seeking out any of the three Intelligentsia cafes.

What's your price range? "On a budget" is a little vague. $20 or less per plate? $10?

Maybe Stanley's Kitchen and Tap (1970 North Lincoln) would do the trick for you.

I've never been there, but the coffeehouse the Bourgeois Pig is popular. 738 W Fullerton Ave @ Halsted. That's popular with DePaul students.

Charlie's Ale House and John's Place, both on Webster. It's a little north of North but close to Clybourn and you can walk down south. Or try La Hacienda.

It's not a coffeehouse, but if you like beer, Goose Island Brew Pub is at North and Sheffield (I believe) across from the Whole Foods/Best Buy shopping center. It's a microbrewery with pretty good food. A better option might be to take the red line to Belmont, then walk about two blocks west to Bittersweet. It's a Parisian-style bakery. They a limited but good lunch menu and the best pastries anywhere.
