Chicago in September (Faina)
 

It looks like a great group of people is planning to visit Chicago in September.

I may be there (hopefully!) for 3-4 days the 10-15 week, but not 100% sure yet.

MelissaHI replied in another post, she'll be there. When?

Maybe we can finally get it out of Kal - WHEN?? He's ignoring me for now.

Who's brave enough to plan a get-together with all of the above? ;)

I will be in Chicago for a wedding Sept 16, but probably will be tied up the whole time w/ family stuff. I'd love to meet the Chicago Fodor's gang!

I'll be there *about* September 23 to 28 or 29, I am not sure yet since I don't have my tix. But that's the date I'm shooting for.

I doubt I'll be in Chicago then (though it would be fun to meet you all), but I did post on another thread to you about a huge convention in Chicago at that time. 90,000 people from the 6th to the 13th. If you want to check other dates, go to http://www.choosechicago.com/smi/calendar.cfm#sep Most of the rest of Chicago looks much more reasonable, convention-wise.

FainaAgain, I will be there for sure regardless, it's just a 50 minute Metra ride away.

Put up the date as soon as you know the GTG, and if you come later/earlier, I'll still make it. But let us all know.
That way, I'll make sure that I won't be in Michigan or have any other necessity which requires physical me going on at the same time.

I am extremely looking forward to meeting you and also many other fellow travelers, who have become such fonts of information and web friends as well.

If you or others decide it has to be a weekday, I'll take it off.

I'm brave.

And that goes, even if it just myself, we no others possible. But I know you'll get a group, if you can pick a time/date at least a month or so ahead.

I have 2 weeks vacation time signed, and will use only 1 week, so let me play with the dates a bit...

Hi MelissaHI! Joe & I will be in Chicago in September, but our dates are 5-10, so we'll miss you, but let meknow if anybody plans a GTG during those dates.

I will fly in on Tuesday September 12 going home slooowwwwwly with Amtrak leaving Chicago on Saturday September 16. No hotel reservation yet. Procrastinating :)
