That's a great deal on the Westin, and I'd stay there too for that price. But 4 stars is really pushing things.

DB, Ha...but it's within staggering distance from Ditka's, Billy Goat, Heaven/7, Giordano's, Lawry's etc and with the Heavenly bed, 4* in my book! ;D
Kal

I just bid on Priceline too, I got the 4* Sheraton in the North Michigan Ave zone for $57 + $5 bonus for this weekend, with taxes and fees it ended up being $72 per night. If you decide to bid, look at this website first
http://www.biddingfortravel.com/

I stayed at the Tremont in October, 2001. The rooms are nice (a bit small) and the location is outstanding. My only complaint was the thin walls (typical of older hotels). The Tremont is adjacent to Mike Ditka's restaurant, and they had some guy who did Frank Sinatra impressions in their lounge until fairly late at night.

As for the Raphael, I got three nights in July on Priceline for a bid of $48/night. Since getting it, I've read both good and bad reviews of the place. It also is in a good location (a block or two from the Tremont) and that's worth a lot in a place like Chicago.
