Regarding the Tremont - yes the rooms are smaller than what you would find in a typical 4 star hotel, but not cramped. If it's just the two of you, you'll probably find it cozy. We felt the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Again, for price (on Hotwire)and location it would be tough to beat. The Tremont is nicer than your average Holiday Inn, Marriott, Sheraton, or Hyatt. But a half-notch down from places like Westin, Admas Mark, Omni, etc. If I had to do it again, I would.

I don't know if this topic is too outdated, but I just used hotwire to book 2 nights in Chicago (for late October) in the North Michigan/Water Tower area...4star, $89/nite = Crowne Plaza Allerton at 701 N. Michigan Ave. Thier website's lowest quotes were $160/nite.

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Did you like it?
