Chicago Hotel Help 4/21-4/23
 

My mom has tickets to Wicked the weekend of 4/21 - 4/23 and has suddenly discovered the entire city is sold out. Most hotels at O'Hare and Midway are available. I am looking for hotel recommendations that would be most convenient to commute into town. I don't think she is comfortable taking the el; she will either drive or cab it. Are there other good hotels on the outskirts of town not as far out as the airports?

Have you given Priceline a shot? What is your price range?

Price range is under $250. I don't think Mom is comfortable with Priceline but I forgot about hotrooms. Thanks!

The Days Inn Lincoln Park always seems busy but you might give them a try (seemed well within your budget)—its short distance to Lake Shore Drive (easy cab ride to show/downtown), also pretty close to the brown line "L" (if you want to be adventurous) and shopping on Clark street.
