Chicago - Frango's?

Since Marshall Fields is now Macy's, are Frangos still sold there? The State Street store used to have a bakery on an upper level that sold great chocolate chip cookies that were made with Frangos instead of choc chips...does anyone know if that bakery and those cookies still exist? Thanks!

Frangos are sold at the Macy's in NYC, so I bet they still are in Chicago. Hope you get your answer. The cookies sound goood!

Absolutely! Macy's is still trying to pacify shoppers after dropping the Field's name. The last box I bought was orange instead of green.

Also, in 1999, manufacturing of the candy was outsourced to Pennsylvania. There's talk of bringing mfg back to Chicago.

I don't see Frango cookies online. But check out the Frango cheesecake:

Thanks everyone! I'll be in Chicago next week so will stock up on Frango chocolates at the State Street Macy's and will check their other Frango products... if not cookies, Frango cheesecake sounds tasty!

Frango's aren't the same recipe as they were. This occurred years before the Marshall Field / Macy change. Also Fannie May's aren't even close to what they were.

Frango's are still good, but to me they aren't Frango's. It has more to do with availabilities of prime sugars, corn syrup and other ingredients that have different freshness re "mobile" histories now, than it does with changing the color of the package.

Also the last actual livestock butchering building was closed at the location of the old stockyards in the last few months. Stockyards too and "hog butcher to the world", like candy making center of the USA- is definitely over.

The last I looked when downtown in winter the Frango's now come in more flavors. EEEEKKK!
