Chicago for the 4th

1st time there. Really want to see a cubs game on the 4th. What are the best ways to get tix? Also, staying with my wife at W city center. Where should we eat? Thanks.

Your options include:

Brokers, legal, expect to pay 100-150 a ticket.

Standing Room tickets sold day of game at Wrigley Field.

Scalpers, Illegal if over face value.

Also keep in mind that they are playing the White Sox that weekend, so tickets will likely cost a small fortune. Your best bet will be to buy from a scalper.

Have fun!

I'd try to get the tickets as soon as possible--you're going to have a heck of a time unless you are willing to pay huge dollars.

From what I've heard, scalped/brokered tickets are running about $100 a seat for that series. Don't know whether that will increase as the games get closer.

Go Sox!

I heard $100 weeks ago - would think the price would be higher now. That has to be one of the most in-demand games for the season. I hope the OP is aware that ticket scams are common. Using a reliable broker is the only way to go.
