Chicago Cubs tomorrow
Plan to take the train from South Bend to Chicago to go to a Cubs game on Saturday. What station do I get off at and then how do I get to the game? Is the El an option or a taxi?

I believe you would just transfer from the train to another subway right at Union Station but I may be incorrect. Take the Red line on the El to Addison. Enjoy the game. I will be there in 2 weeks for Cardinals @ Cubs |
Do you just buy tickets when you get to the El? |
I believe you can. I bought the 5 day visitors pass. Based on posts here, make sure you have exact change.

The train from South Bend comes into Randolph St. Station (Millenium Park), which is right under Michigan Avenue and about 2 blocks from the Red Line subway at State and Lake. Take that North (toward Howard) and exit with all the other blue shirts (at Addison).

You'll see fare card machines in the station. It's $2 each way. So just buy yourself a $4 card and you're all set for the round trip. |
Thanks so much for the quick replies. We had a girl here at work obsessing on how to do this tomorrow. I think I just increased her productivity by 200%. Not that it was that great before!!!
