Help!! I am looking for tickets to the Cubs July 4, 5 or 6. they are sold out on the cubs web site on the 4th & 5th and can only order single tickets for the 6th. Is there some other place to order? Thanks

You can go early on day of game and hope that tickets are released at the box office (believe the windows open sometime between 8-9 am). Also, the Tribune and Sun-Times lists ticket brokers every day in the classified. This is legal; buying them on the street near Wrigley is not (tho' the police rarely care if you do it). The Fourth of July holiday is one of the most difficult times to get a Cubs ticket.<BR><BR>If you aren't too picky, you can buy the scattered singles and sit apart, or buy SRO only tickets and stand by the guardrails.

The Cubs no longer release tickets on the day of the game-- but you may be able to get SRO. Holiday weekend games, as well as popular series like the Cards, White Sox, and this year, Yankees, usually sell out within a few hours of tickets going on sale, usually in mid-February. <BR><BR>I agree with Chicago Heather, your best bet is to go with a broker, but since this is both a holiday weekend AND a Cards series, be prepared to spend some dough!!<BR><BR>Good luck!

Cubs *do* still release day-of tickets but it varies as to when and what time, and definitely doesn't occur every game (for these the chance is about 0.001%). They don't necessarily release them in the mornings any more and it's based upon whether the players/executives/corporate partners use their allotments as well as whether season ticket holders &quot;return&quot; their seats for a game. More info than you need. From the brokers I know, they're getting $150+ for good seats to these games.

Holiday wkend? You'll have to scalp on game day. Get there a few hours early and hover around the park, someone will be selling, Be prepared to pay over $50 each, even on a cloudy day.
