I agree with some of the other posters here. I would check out metromix.com and citysearch.com for some great bars. City search will even tell you how many miles you are from these places etc.

I gotta also agree with who ever suggested Blues Chicago. What better to do in Chicago then listen to authentic blues, and it should be right in your area. Its a $7 cover and you can go to both clubs, they are like 2 blocks from eachother, and the drinks arent too expensive (Maybe like $6ish) the venue is small and its a fun place to go. Ive been like 5 times.
