Chicago area GTG- part II
 

Thanks to JJ5, we are having a 2nd Chicago area GTG on Jan 2 at 6:00 pm at Harrison's brewpub in Orland Park. It's located at 158th and LaGrange Rd (Rte. 45). All who wish to venture to the south are invited! Thanks again to JJ5 for being GTG planner extrodinaire!

It will be fun- 3 of us will be there for sure and I think 2 more maybes. Spouses or friends welcome, just add their numbers on this thread.

Jan. 2- we can keep holidaying all the way into the spring at this rate.

SNOW here again today.

If my kids were playing hockey at the Artic Ice Arena that day, I would stop by for a drink. But my kids are at other ice rinks that day. & it is a bit of a drive to there from the far northwest suburbs.

If I get back from Nashville, TN in time I will be there. Unfortunately we are driving with another couple and won't have control over time.

We'd love to have you...the more the merrier! Tell the driver to speed! Just kidding.

You guys have fun, too bad I don't have a car (meaning getting out of town is a bit of a complicated affair) and won't around that day.

I will be sorry to miss you, Vittrad. Maybe next summer we can do the River cruise.

I'm not going to be able to make it for dinner tonight. The movers are coming earlier than initially planned, which means my packing is wayy behind schedule. I apologize for the late notice. I'm still up at 1:30 am hoping to finish up so I can meet you guys, but its not going to happen. :(

Swalter, they won't make any reservations, so I'll be in the bar area around 5:45 - just so I don't miss you. If any others come also- look for me. I'll be the vertically challenged one in the red and black with frosted short hair. If you can't make it swalter, just let me know here.

JJ, I've got a terrible cold but was going to stop by b/c I didn't know if you were checking your work email. Should we just do it another time? You can email me at home [email protected] or post back.

We can do it another time. That's the same problem we've had since the day after Christmas. I spent New Year's Eve with Alka Seltzer Cold PLUS.

I'll email you, Swalter. Don't bother to get yourself overextended right now, and with a cold. We'll meet. Later is fine. I'll email.
