We had a nice trip! I have organized the photos and completed days 1 and 1a at this blog:

Although we missed the rooftop bars, we accomplished our goals and I satisfied my John Singer Sargent needs!

Don't you just hate it when you leave some clothing behind and <i>have</i> to shop in a new city? I know Mrs Kal does because she seems to do it every trip. :-?

There are just a couple of buildings to be captioned, and input from my travel companions, but the blog is about complete!

If/when I go again, I will make better use of bus travel. Too many steps in the el stations I saw.

S used Lyft and the 2 trips we took were wonderful.
