Chic, non-family style restaurants in DC ?

Please give me some advice on new, chic restaurants (with good food) in DC...Sushi is a plus...In other words, a place where young people WITHOUT CHILDREN would enjoy.

Check online for nearest Metro stops and addresses, and phone numbers for reservations:
2941
15 ria
firefly
zaytinya
zola
little fountain cafe
jaleo
In additon, check the Washington Post's website - www.washingtonpost.com - and look for Tom Sietsma's reviews and dining guide. The guy knows what he's doing! Have fun in DC!

PS-Ahaugeto, I could not find my earlier posting. My computer hasn't been the same since the Worm! I did a search for it, before I posted a new message, but it did not appear. That is why I posted a new one. :) Sorry for the annoying confusion!

I guess it would depend on where exactly in the DC you're going to want to dine. If you are going to be downtown, I would definitely try Zaytinya for something trendy and very good. It's like greek tapas.

For Sushi, I would try Perry's in Adams Morgan which has a great rooftop deck.

If you wanted to do classy seafood I would do DC Coast.

For Lebanese at a neat place, try Neyla in Georgetown.

Hope this helps.

We had a really nice meal at DC Coast on a recent trip to Washington. Excellant seafood and some interesting presentations. I really liked the Tuna Tartar appetizer.
