Cheyenne - Any great spots for breakfast?

I'll be passing through Cheyenne early tomorrow morning. Can anyone recommend a great place for breakfast? I have been to the coffee shop at the Little America. Is this my best bet or is there a new place I should try. Thanks!

Hey, wtm003! Hope you are having a great trip. I am not familiar with Cheyenne, but by doing a Fodor's search just now, I learned that the Little America breakfast is not getting rave reviews, and it seems there's not much available in the Cheyenne area. Maybe a local expert will offer advice soon.

Try the Luxury Diner on E. Lincolnway. It used to be an old trolley and is a real breakfast experience. The food is good too :-)

Thanks Tess! The Luxury Diner sounds great.

BayouGal, I also did a search and I agree that the options seemed very limited. Things appear a little brighter now.

The Hitching Post has a nice cafe and it is on Lincolnway right off 80. Dinner Restaurant Cheyenne Cattelman Co there is Fabulous! One of my most favorite cross country for steak.

I wanted to thank Tess for the breakfast recommendation. I liked the Luxury Diner - very unique and a lot of character. I had the special which was eggs and sausage patties. The sausage was the best. I haven't had anything like that in years. My kids had pancakes, which they willing shared with me, and were also tasty. My husband had the steak & eggs. He didn't care for the steak, thought it tasted boiled, but enjoyed everything else. Thanks again!

Bodi thanks for your suggestions. If I'm ever driving through Cheyenne during dinnertime I'll be sure to stop at the Cattleman Company. Yum!

I am at the Hampton on Lincolnway, hope I can try the Luxury Diner before I leave.

wtm003,

I'm so glad you liked the Luxury Diner! As it turns out I was in Cheyenne that day (for a doctor's appointment)--I had a silly urge to drop by the diner and wander around saying, "Fodors, Fodors Fodors" and see if you answered. You'll be happy to hear that I didn't do any such thing...
