Are Macadamia nuts cheaper in Hawaii?

Buy them at a K-mart over on the islands.

Or at farmer's markets.

Work as a Macadamia nut picker and eat your heart out.

When I was there in 1992, you could get good deals at the factory store near Hilo.

It depends on where you live. Costco often has them cheap.<BR><BR>In Hawaii, check the prices at the ABC stores.

Last time I was on the BI, there was someone selling them VERY cheap at a roadside stand up by the northernmost point on the island.

Cheapest is at Longs Drug Stores on sale, or ABC, or Costco.

We are using them as part of wedding favors and bought at Sams state side because we were told it is cheaper than buying there. Does any one know what Cosco price might be?

They might be cheep but they're certainly not cheap! I've actually bought them (mauna loa brand)cheaper on the mainland.
