Cheapest time of year to go to Hawaii?

DH and I are thinking of taking our annual vacation at our typical time of year (autumn- late October, or in November). Last year, trips to Hawaii seemed to go on sale around that time.

But we're cost-conscious people.

What time of year is generally a good time to find deals to Hawaii (any/ all of the islands... we haven't yet decided which we'll visit, and we've never been)?

Thank you!

September after Labor Day through mid-November are usually the least expensive.

April & May before Memorial Day would be next.

We've gone at Thanksgiving in 2004 and 2005 and the prices start to go up around Dec 15th as far as hotels are concerned.

I've traveled intentionally in October and April to the islands because of it being "low-season". I must say, awesome deals were available on flights and hotels. Both times were great.

First time was to Oahu in October. Then Maui in April. My next trip will be to Kauai. Not sure what month.

Have fun
