United appears to have reduced many of their fares to Hawaii as of yesterday. I booked Dec.2-Dec 10--DEN-KOA for less than $500 per person. (the same itinerary had been almost $800 for many weeks).

I just booked a $700 fare per person on United from Buffalo to Maui with only one stop in Chicago. Fares had been running over a $1000. Plus the Hyatt was running a great special - $200 per night partial ocean view with breakfast everyday. Mmmmm, 7 days in Maui. I can't wait.

Thanks Marty, saw good fares yesterday on both United and American from LAX to Kauai for about $462, debating now between Kauai and Mexico this fall.

Thanks for the heads up Marty. We have friends that wanted to join us in Kona this September but the airfare several months ago was almost $800.00 p.p., so they passed. They just booked two round trip tix on United, from LAX to KOA (non-stop) for $401.00 p.p..
