Cheap Tickets.com

I seem to be able to get a lower rate for Outrigger Reef for 3 nights in January through them vs. other avenues. Is it safe? The only question I have is you cannot get a guarantee at time of booking for a double room instead of 1 king size bed, you can just put in a request. We are travelling with our 2 boys, should this be a problem? Does anyone have any advice as to increasing our chance on getting an upgrade?

You might want to try pleasantholidays.com for a package of air/hotel or air/hotel/car. They always have the best price for us.

Like mentioned above, are you sure cheap tickets has the lowest price? I haven't found any significant discounts with them in about 2 years. in addition to Pleasant Holidays have you tried American, Delta, and United Vacations, etc? And funjetvacations.com

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified, my flights are taken care of with Aeroplan points so a package will not work for us. Plus, we are from Canada, so I have to take the CDN$ into account. From my searching, right now, Cheap Tickets is the best deal. I am concerned re: getting the wrong type of room.

You can still do hotel only with Pleasantholidays.com and all the airline vacation websites. There is a prompt to book "hotel only" without airfare.

I don't really know, maybe try calling the hotel and asking what their policy is--see if once you book it, you can call them to make them hold a specific room type for you. Get the hotel employee's name you speak with too, just in case.

I've used cheap tickets before, I believe it's safe. They've been around for a while.

I've used Cheaptickets.com for airline tickets and not had a problem.

I looked for prices on Pleasant Holidays and did not find anything that great about their prices... especially if you already have air taken care of. Thye had the same rates as every other site.

If cheaptickets.com is the cheapest you have come across, then that should be a safe bet.

The tv show Regis and Kelly uses cheaptickets.com for all their prize trips. I'd assume it's fine.
