cheap Sheraton hotel on Waikiki

On the Sheraton internet site, I find a room @ $85/night at the "Sheraton Waikiki hotel", Manor-wing (no view).
Do you know this hotel and the Manor-wing ?
I think it's a very basic room. Does it worth the money ?
Does "no-view" mind "no-window" ?!? (English is not my native language).
Is there self parking possibility ?
How is the beach in front of the hotel ?
Thank for your help.

I haven't stayed in the hotel as a guest, but I was in and out of it several times this past July/August. It seems like a nice hotel - is located right next door to the "Pink Palace" the Royal Hawaiian, which is gorgeous. The beach at the Sheraton Waikiki is nice and so is the pool area. As far as the price being worth it, $85 in a nice hotel AND on Waikiki beach -view or no view - is a great price. I'm sure there's a window (or more) in the room, just not probably overlooking the beach. Parking is probably available for a daily rate as is the case all over Waikiki. I would suggest giving the hotel a call and asking them directly so you can decide what you want to do.

The Manor Wing was built as an annex to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel to be used by flight crews on the newly developing Trans Pacifics flight network post WWII.The rooms are tiny, air conditioning provided by window units and the bathrooms are adquate. The "view" is of the parking lot.You see the beach when you get to the beach.

Bousquet, I don't know about these rooms, but I can tell you that the beach in front of the Royal Hawaiian (next door to the Sheraton) is very nice. there are no really bad parts of Waikiki Beach, but in my opinion this is the very best section.

I have never stayed in a Manor wing room but have seen brochure photos. The room is VERY small, twin bed(s?, small window, toilet/shower/sink. However, you do have access to all facilities of the Sheraton Waikiki, which is a deal if you are planing to use the rom as simply a place to lay your head. Aloha

The Manor Wing at the Sheraton is yucky. I would avoid.

FYI, the last 5 times I have bid on Priceline for a 3* hotel in Waikiki I have gotten a room at the Sheraton Princess Kaulani for $50 a night. The rooms aren't that great but for the price it cant be beat.

Dont bid on Priceline until you 100% understand the process and the fianlity of it! Go to BiddingForTravel.com and study it.

I personally use Priceline when I am going to Honolulu for one night alone, I would not be so brave to bid if a family vacation hinged on the outcome.

We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki for $100 a night using Priceline. You are guaranteed that you will not get the Manor wing rooms with Priceline. The minimum room you would receive is the "city-view". We were upgraded to a partial ocean-view room, which was well worth the $100 per night. If you refer to biddingfortravel.com, you will see that most people bidding for this area in Waikiki are getting the Sheraton. There is self parking available, for $10 per night. It is in a garage adjacent to the hotel, for guests of the Sheraton Waikiki and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The beach area in front of the Royal Hawaiian is better, and is only a few steps away from the Sheraton Waikiki. You would be entitled to use the facilities at all Sheratons when you stay at any Sheraton-they describe the "stay at one, play at all" benefit on the Sheraton website.
