Cheap parking in brooklyn?

We're driving to NYC over Christmas break. We usually park in Weehauken when we stay in the city, but this time we're staying at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriot. Are there any cheap parking places in that area?

Hi Leonora
What days will you be staying, i.e. Monday-Friday, Friday-Sunday, etc?

If you are willing to put up with alternate street parking, the streets around Green-Wood cemetery usually have parking and are just a short subway ride on the M from where you are staying.

Map the hotel on maps.google.com and then use the "search nearby" function for parking garages.

I work across the street.

What will you be driving?

I can say that if you go further north on Adams street there is alternate side parking. One side says no parking Mon and Thu 830 - 1000. The other is no parking Tue and Fri 830-1000. Set your car up the day before such that you do not have to move it the next day. There are many residential blocks like that nearby.

The cheapest pay parking is a lot on Jay Street and Chapel Place.

The cheapest indoor parking is the garage on Jay Street and Chapel Place, which is three blocks away.
