cheap hotels

what is the best way to get CHEAP hotel rates???

philsbert1 Jun 17th, 2003 03:55 PM

Scour the internet....expedia.com, travelocity.com, orbitz.com, cheaptickets.com, qixo.com, 180096hotel.com, travelhero.com, etc. and then always go to the individual website for that particular property you are interested in, and see who has the best rate.

I have had great luck with priceline.com About 3 yrs ago I got the Crowne Plaza in Center City Philadelphia for $50/night.

Plan your trips for off season. Example, I'm going to the caribbean the begining of December paying around $100 per night for my room. The same room in January will be around $400 per night.

Priceline is the best.

I always use orbitz. I think it works great for finding hotels in places you dont know much about. The descriptions they have for each hotel is really useful in those cases.
