Cheap flights to Hawaii in May?
 

A friend of mine is needing cheap flights to Honolulu at the end of May.
Anybody know of any good deals?

Your best bet is to try www.kayak.com. No knowing where your friend is flying from makes it difficult to be more helpful. Looking in the travel section of most major city Sunday papers can occasionally show charter fares that might be cheap. However, since the demise of Aloha and ATA, the days of cheap fares to Hawaii are over.

From where? How long to stay?Flexible dates? All of this and more factors in to cost of airline tickets.

Hawaiian Airlines has started flights from Oakland, CA to Honolulu from 1st May so they still have some introductory rates till mid June. Fuel surcharges have already pushed the minimum one way $210 + $285 (Outbound + Return) fares by $20-30 each. Still cheaper than other options out there.

I just found reasonably priced Alaska Airlines one ways or round trips from Seattle, through early June.
