Cheap flights to Hawaii
 

Hi,

i've been reading the board and people have commented on how they've gotten tix to hawaii (Kauai, maui, oahu, BI, etc) at $300-400.

how did you do it? specific details would be great. I'm based in CA + thinking of visiting again in Aug/Sept.

the cheapest flights (INCLUDING TAX) I've seen are usually $500+ on a regular carrier (excluding Suntrips).

packages from expedia, etc make it a little cheaper but not that much.

I'm guessing those type of fares ($300-$400) would originate from SF or LA.

Go to Hawaiian airlines website or you can book air only through pleasant holidays.

If you find a solution, please post. Looks like most airlines recently decided this would be a high demand summer (for reduced number of flights) and have eliminated all cheap HI fares until mid december from mainland USA. Hope they either increase flights, or find they have to lower prices to attract customers.
