Cheap Flight one way out of Detroit?

My daughter needs a flight out of Detroit one way next week...she's pretty flexible from July 2-July 5th. She can fly into Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA, or Moline, IL. Does any one have any ideas for a cheap flight? She also could fly tomorrow, the 29th from those three same cities to Detroit and then back next week. Right now she has a flight to Detroit but not back. But if she could get a round trip flight cheaper than the one way home from Detroit, she would switch flights.

Thank you for any QUICK ideas!

http://www.cheapticketairfare.co is a discount search engine.
Detroit to Des Moines $250.

Find out what airlines service out of Detroit into the wanted locations, I'm thinking Delta and United. The airlines are good at matching discounted prices.

She could take an Amtrak Wolverine train from Detroit into Chicago and take the EL out to O'Hare or Midway.
The fare is about $55 from Detroit to CHI.
I'm guessing she is under 25 so the car rental option is out?

She would switch??? How MUCH has she paid already for that non-refundable flight?
