Cheap Eats !!......Here is a Discount Code for restaurant.com

I got this from my son.

Promotion code from www.Restaurant.com -- which gets you
45% off their regular discounted price for the next couple days. The
code is 32989. By using the code, I think you can get a $25 gift certificate for $5 bucks or so.

Dick, Thanks for the tip, sounds like a good deal. Can you (or anyone) give more information on this site/program? I went to the site but couldn't find information regarding expiration dates, validity etc. Any personal experiences anyone?

We bought a few certifcates for restaurants in NYC via Restaurant.com and used them in August with no problems.

I've used the site before for some local places..in addition to buying the certificates on EBay.

You must read the restrictions, because they vary by restaurant.. Restrictions includeing number of person, dfay of week and time of day. Quality of restaurant varies.

I took my grandkids to a local italian pizza type place. Cost me 5 bucks for the certfificate and got $25. worth of food.

A lot of restaurants aren't accepting them anymore and you might not find out until you're ready to pay. Ask first and you'll only be out the minor cost of the certificate, instead of maybe a whole meal including embarrassment.

Thsnks for the replies. Makes me wonder if thats why they're being so greatly discounted. If it sounds too good to be true, maybe it isn't.

It is possible to get a good bargain. Just remember that the restaurants usually are far from "A list" establishments and often fall in the "so-so" (or worse) category.

I tried to use it on a $1 gift certificate but it didn't work :-D

I've used them, and they have emailed me when a restaurant no longer accepts the certificate to offer a refund. Make sure you check your email account!
