Cheap Airfare - Phoenix to Maui
 

Can anyone recommend any good consolidators? I see so many on the internet. Is it unreasonable to think we can get airfare from Phoenix to Maui in May for under $500 per person? Thanks for any help! <BR>

Don't know specifics, but the thing that occurs to me reading your post is why not SWA cheap fare to LA, and then from there there are usually great fares to Maui-----I think May might be on the early side, but maybe not. I would just check with United or Hawaiian etc. <BR>

Mary: I too have been trying to find low airfares, but we will be traveling much sooner than you -- departing August 29. Anyway, I found that through SunTrips you can buy just the air and the fares are $100 to $150 less per person than the major carriers. My fare from San Francisco, leaving on a Saturday (which is the most expensive day of the week) to Maui is $329 plus tax. SunTrips has their own jets called Skyservice USA or Ryan International Airlines. I believe their sister company is SunQuest, whichs flys out of Los Angeles. I've been waiting a month for fares to go down and finally decided to buy my tickets today through SunTrips. E-mail me if you want the phone number for SunQuest or SunTrips. Good luck!

<BR>I have found cheap fares thru " Best Fares.com." <BR>Well worth the subscription price but even if you don't subscribe the website is good for getting the skinny on fares.

I have found cheap air fare to Hawaii through discount agencies I have found through such local "rags" as the Village Voice (NYC - although you can probably get a copy in any city). The idea about flying Southwest from Phoenix to LA is a good one. It is likely to be inexpensive and flights from LA to Hawaii should be much cheaper. <BR>
