Charleston SC - March 2005 help

Hello,

We're going to a wedding in March on the beach in Charleston - or I guess it is actually near there.

What website would help with beach house rental? What's the going rate?

Where do I find a calendar of local events?

We are a family with two small children. We would love any fairs or festivals, museums, parks, food etc. What leads do you have?

Oh, and what type of clothing for that time of year?

Weather is a crapshoot. Anywhere from 65-85 degrees.

Where is the wedding?

Charleston is anywhere from 20 minutes to 90 minutes from the beaches.

Island Mom - Try Fred Holland realty - I think it's fredhollandrealty.com. We used them for a house on Folly Island - about 15-20min from downtown Charleston. Going rate in March should be lots better than what we paid in high season. Depending on size and which area you could be $500-5000/week. I like Folly Island because it seems to be easier and faster to get into downtown and the houses are less expensive. There is a fishing pier and a park at the south end of the island.

Hmmmm, I have my own opinion on Fred Holland realty and would recommend Island Realty or Carroll Realty over it any day of the week.
