Charleston SC in Summer With Young Children
 
Hi,

Thinking about taking a summer vacation for around 3 nights to Charleston SC. Our children will be 8 and 4 at the time (flying from NJ, first time flying with our children). Is there enough around the area for a few days for kids that age?

Island of Palms Beach would be enjoyable for the kids but not during the heat of the day.
