Charleston/Savannah - late May - mosquitos and humidity ??

Hi,

I am going to be in Charleston and Savannah in late May. I am wondering what we can expect in regards to mosquito's and humidity. We will be coming from the Smoky Mountains, which I guess will be much cooler. Only 3 weeks to wait until we leave - so excited!!

Thanks for your help!

We were in both places in the summer and had no problems with mosquitos in the cities, BUT it was very hot and humid, and we were from Atlanta(so we know H&H) When we went to Fort Pulaski, we did encounter some major mosquitos, but just bring your Off with you. You will love both cities, I acould live in either one of them, <g> Judy BTW, you will have a glorious time IMO.

Yes, bring Off with you or something else that contains deet. Heat and humidity will be bad during the day but OK at night.

they say that the mosquitos are going to be bad this year, since the south didn't have much in the way of cold weather. (Who "they" is remains a mystery.)
