Charleston Restaurants
Hi All,
My husband and I are going to Charleston for a long weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I have planned to have lunch at 167 Raw, the Darling Oyster Bar, and Rodney Scott's BBQ while we are there with dinner at The Ordinary, Husk, and McCrady's Restaurant. Thoughts on these choices? I booked McCrady's for the night of our anniversary because I was looking for something special. Let me know if there are alternate suggestions. Thank you! |
We were in Charleston 3 weeks ago for 4 nights.. We dined for dinner at:
Charleston Grill Peninsula Grill Magnolias High Cotton We enjoyed the food and menu selection at Charleston Grill and High Cotton the most. But the others were quite good also. We had crab cakes twice - and those at Charleston Grill were the best. The fish I had at Charleston Grill was the best also. Stu Dudley |
If you are going before the end of the month eat lunch at the Hominy Grill. It is CLOSING!! Bad sad news for the restaurant scene in Charleston.

How can Hominy Grill be closing? :-( Just ate there in March and it was packed and wonderful as always. We had a fabulous meal at Lewis BBQ...the brisket was arguably the best I'd ever had. And while it is old school...Magnolia never disappoints and is my "must go" when in Charleston.

Thanks - we will be there in June so we will miss Hominy Grill.

Love 167 Raw.
