Charleston or Niagara Falls?
 

If you had a choice between these 2 trips, where would you go? Charleston, SC (with side trip to Wild Dunes) or Niagara Falls, Ontario? I enjoy nature walks, sightseeing, less crowds, picturesque towns, & swimming in pools.

No comparison. Charleston by a mile. Check out all of the historic plantations while you are there.

Absolutely Charleston. So much to do and see, and never very crowded.

Been to both, Charleston by far!

don't go to Niagara Falls. it is a one night trip. gets boring and cheesy.

Niagara is best seen on your way to Toronto from somewhere else.

Niagara Falls only if your favorite TV show is Hee Haw and you've never been off the farm.<BR>Otherwise, Charleston.<BR>

WOW! I thought that Niagara-on-the-Lake is supposed to be a nice, quaint Victorian town with lots of shops, B&amp;B's, and wineries.

My vote is for Charleston, there's no comparison in my opinion. I've been there twice, and if I could afford to go every year (from Boston), I would. It's absolutely gorgeous, friendly people, so much to see and do, and the azaleas are amazing!

Been lots of times to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake (I'm from Upstate NY) and I've been to Charleston, SC ... Although Niagara-on-the-Lake is a charming town and I love going there for a weekend, if choosing between NF and Charleston ... my vote would definitely be for Charleston, hands down (no comparison).

Charleston is a world class city and is very beautiful and charming.

DEFINITELY Charleston- hands down..<BR>BUT.......NOT in the summer as the heat is stifling!!<BR><BR>Niagra and Niagra on the Lake--ONLY if you are on your way to or from Toronto...
