Charleston in February
Has anyone stayed at the Church Street Inn in Charleston. Also is the City Market open all year?
Thanks Pat |
I'm interested in that hotel, too. I found a good rate for it on Expedia, but I'm not sure if it's a nice place.

I don't know anything about the Inn, but the Market is open all year. It shuts down around 7 or 8 every night with some lingering vendors.

Does this include Sundays? I'm making a special trip to visit the market and pick up some low county seasonings (yummm).
Cannot find anything about the market's hours. Thanks |
Hi. Don't know anything about the Church Street Inn...the Meeting Street Inn comes highly recommended. The market is open every day, but the best vendors are there until 4 or 5.
It's such a great city and much more to do than just the market area. Enjoy |
The Church Street Inn is a charming little inn with a great location. As previous posts mention, the market is open 7 days a week and the best vendors are there until 5 at the latest. While there are some unique things to the market (e.g. sweetgrass baskets), for the most part, the market has now become an extension of malls...not as many "Charleston only" items...feels a little like Canal Street in NYC to me these days.
