Has anyone heard or stayed at the Chandler Inn? If so, was it clean, good area to stay in, etc. Thanks. Pam

THe area is excellent and central (I live a few blocks away). Its called the South End and is hip, funky, etc. It is also Boston's premier gay neighborhood. The Chandler itself is very gay friendly. The rooms are nice but unspectacular - think holiday inn. THe price is very cheap by Boston standards - so you don't get what your not paying for. It is convenient to Public transportation (Back Bay stop). It is also close to a number of superb restaurants - one of the things the neighborhood is know for. If you have any other questions please post.

Oh, there is no easy place to park your car, which you shouldn't drive in Boston in any case.

I am considering a stay at 83 Chandler Inn in October. Does anyone else have information?
