Central Park Walk for slower senior!

How about a path from Strawberry Fields ending up at the
Guggenheim? How long would this take walking at a slower than normal pace? (I know it's relative - just need a ballpark estimate)

That's a sizable walk given the way the paths in the Park serpentine. Don't know exact distance - but it will be more than a mile - and for a slow walker I would assume it would take at least an hour.

Go to the website of the Central Park Conservancy and you can get a map of the Park with all of the pedestrian paths indicated.

Ok, will hunt for that website - and thanks for the reply! Actually an hour would be about perfect.

Strawberry Fields are right off Central Park West and 72nd Street. The Guggenhiem is on Fifth Ave abd 88th Street.

Please note:

The Park can be hilly but not steep. Walking at the Guggenhiem can be tiring because it is all downhill.

ok - thanks for the input.

I never did find a map with pedestrian trails, but I did find a recommended walk which goes from the Strawberry Fields (Sheep Meadow/Mall/Bethesda area/the Lake and Bow Bridge)to Belvedere Castle. West from that point comes out very close to the Met Museum - so we are thinking that will be our Museum to visit!
This walk warned that from the Lake to the Castle there is no direct route. It suggested to head north, keeping the Lake on the left. I guess there are a LOT of trails in the Ramble.
Can't wait!
