Central Park carriage ride
 
Is there a CP carriage ride near The Tavern on the Green or are the all on the opposite side of the park?

Carriages will be found on Central Park South at 5th Ave., 6th Avenue and near Columbus Circle. The closest are the carriages near Columbus Circle

We have always been able to get a carriage from Tavern on the Green after we are done there. We like to go there for dessert after theater and take a carriage ride back to our hotel. It makes for a great evening.
