Zoo, merry-go-round, rowing on the lake, biking.

zoo horse and carriage rides (yes, there are "ethical" issues for some, but kids like the ride) |

Oops, The Frick Collection does not want to give thrills to seven-year-old girls. Ten is the minimum age for admission.
Years ago when I took a young girl to the Patio of the Castle of Velez Blanco in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, she got pretty swept away with a fantasy about life in a royal court. HTtY |
