Cemetary and Haunted Tours
Has anyone done these? Do you recommend one company over the other? I want interesting for cemetary and SCARY for Haunted. I heard the former are excellent and the Haunted a plain waste of time.

briehon, you need to post somewhere in your heading what city/state you are thinking of.
Just add it to this post, instead of starting a third:) |

If you are talking about New Orleans, we went on a great tour of St Louis No 1 (just on the other side of Rampart St from the French Quarter) with the Historic New Orleans Walking Tour Co. Our guide was great - very knowlegable, terrific story teller, and seemed to genuninly love New Orleans' history.

Key West?

P.S. to Scarlett's post:
in a cemetery, everyone is at E's. |
We did the "haunted history tour" in New Orleans a couple of years ago. It was fun. Our guide (Mideon) was a great storyteller and it seemed more theatrical than historical (though I suppose the stories he told could be considered true depending on how much you believe in the supernatural). My husband and I have since had several laughs remembering his tone and the seriousness with which he told each story as we wandered the french quarter. I grew up in New Orleans and this was something different to do - I wouldn't consider it a must for a first time New Orleans visit and think a cemetrary tour would be more interesting if you're not familiar w/New Orleans cemetaries.

There are some great pub tours in Savannah, GA.

If you're talking about the ones in Charleston, SC, I'd say "no" but if you're looking at Savannah, GA, then "yes".
