I have a Sprint cell phone. Will it work in Key West, Grand Caymans or Cozumel? We are going on a cruise and were wondering if it would work on the ship? Thanks, Liz

Ever think about calling Sprint or logging on to their website to see what areas they cover????

To x- I travel often and often the web sites promise coverage, but the reality is now always as promised. Different phone models can also affect reception. To be safe, always leave some alternate contact numbers.

Why the attitude? Liz just asked a fair question. Liz, you can use your Sprint PCS phone in Key West. At this time, Sprint PCS does not support international roaming, beyond Canada. So it will not work in the Caymans or Cozumel. You may be able to use analog roam with a credit card though in Cozumel. You will need to speak spanish to discuss this with the operator in Mexico. You can reach them by dialing 611.

We decided to use e-mail, our cell phone in Key West, and a prepaid phone card.<BR><BR>x--Yes, we tried to get our answer from Sprint online but were unsuccessful. Via telephone we got tired of being transferred all over the place and being put on hold.<BR><BR>xx-Thanks for your reply. You also have had the same problems as I have when trying to connect via cellphone from areas where they supposedly work.<BR><BR>Liz
