Celine Dion

Has anyone been to her show at
Caeasars Palace, Las Vegas?

utahtea Jul 7th, 2003 01:22 PM

Not yet. We have tickets for her show in August. We will be on vacation with BIL & SIL and they wanted to go.

Yes....yes....yes! Just got back from Vegas and got to catch her wonderful show. Her voice is just as amazing in person as on her c.d.'s, etc. It is well worth the money. Wonderful dancers, band, and visual beauty abound! Got our tickets through ticketmaster. Got the middle priced tickets which put us on the 1st mezzanine.

We're going in Sept. and the only tickets I could get from Ticketmaster under Best Available were the second mezz...the cheapest tickets. Any advice? Another way to buy better tickets?

ydujyak Jul 10th, 2003 12:11 PM

Really, Peggi, I don't think you would be dissappointed with 2nd Mezz tickets. I have heard all seats are good viewing. Haven't heard anybody complain about those level seats yet. Anyone out there have complaints on this level of seating?

You can join Celine Dion's fan club. I think it's called Team Celine. I know members get better seating options.

Blenroth Jul 10th, 2003 01:31 PM

Forget Team Celine and join Team Blenroth instead. I offer $2 discounts to Six Flags if you bring an empty coke can.

utahtea Jul 10th, 2003 04:09 PM

To Peggi,

If you do join Celine Dion you can get discount and they save blocks of tickets for members.

I just checked the web site and it looks like Oct - Nov. good seats are already sold out.

Just saw as I passed thru DFW a/p that she has now completed 65 sell outs for a gross of just under $36M....that's over $550K per show at an avg tkt cost of $138 per..not bad for 3 shows a week....and I see that other performers will be appearing at the Colloseum....Gloria Estefan(my FAV!) in Oct....and others...

Marrion, we saw the show in late May. Even though I was not a rabid fan before, I am a big admirer now. She gives everything she has to the show. I was in tears through much of it. The special effects are great. We had the cheapest seats up in the nosebleeds and were able to see everything.

I saw Celine's show last week. I wasn't sure about paying $150 plus the $13 Ticketmaster charge for a show, because it takes many hours of work to earn that ticket. However, I like her music and greatly admire her voice, so we decided to see her. Well, it was worth every penny! Her voice is amazing--fabulous pitch and pure tone. She is a wonderful entertainer. It wasn't just a concert; it was an experience. There was so much to watch that we couldn't decide when to watch her on stage, when to watch her on the big screen, when to watch the amazing dancers, etc. My only complaint is that the seats in the theater are uncomfortably small with no leg room. After walking all day, it would have been nice to have some room to stretch out our legs. However, the show was fabulous! You will walk through a metal detector when you enter the theater. And if you have a camera, they will take it and give it back to you after the show (like a coat check). Be prepared to leave with a happy heart, knowing that you have been thoroughly entertained.
