Celebrity Spotting

Headed to New York for girls weekend with a cousion who is about to get married. She loves seeing celebs. Any good locals in NYC to spot some?

You could stand outside the door after a Broadway show. That's one sure way to spot a celeb, a quasi-celeb and a semi-celeb. Oh and a demi-celeb.

Someone asked this exact question just last week.
Search the archives and you'll find the many answers.

What's this c**p about so-called 'celebrity' these days ?

I agree with the last poster---why all the "starstuck" crap re/ so called "celebrities"?
Does it really give some people a thrill to see someone who is a so called "celeb"?--
More importantly, why do some people put these celebs on a throne to look up to?

Lighten up!

To the OP, the best way to spot a celebrity is to walk down the street and pay attention. Check out Time Out New York and see if anyone is doing a new record release at Virgin Records in Times Square.

Best way is to turn on the TV. See them on tv or in person, what's the diff?

Just stand anywhere and ny and point and say "Oh my gosh, there is ________" and sware to it. Someone in your group is bound to agree with you and convince themselves they saw _______ too, and that would add to the trip.

Also, if weekend, by chance includes a Friday or Monday, you could stand in line for a tv show taping (get there early) and meet a celebrity during the taping or at least be in the same breathing room.
